The North Dakota Grain Growers Association, Minnesota Association of Wheat Growers, and the Minnesota Barley Growers Association are partnering with Northland Community Technical College’s Farm Business Management Program to hold their annual meeting with the theme, "Strategic Decisions, Successful Businesses," Dec. 7-8 at the Doublewood Inn, Fargo, ND.

United Spring Wheat Processors, the North Dakota Wheat Commission, and the North Dakota Barley Council, are also coordinating meetings around the convention. Wheat and barley producers in North Dakota and Minnesota are encouraged to attend the event, which features information on key issues relating to profitable crop production (see program for more).

Registration:

MAWG, MBGA, NDGGA members FREE. Meals extra ($15 Monday pasta banquet, $10 Tuesday breakfast, $10 Tuesday lunch). Cost to nonmembers: $50 registration, plus meal costs. Nonmembers can save $50 by joining the MAWG, MBGA, or NDGGA, which they can do at registration.

Motel:

Attendees are responsible for their own hotel arrangements at the Doublewood Inn, 3333 13th Ave. South, Fargo, phone 701-235-3333 or 1-800-433-3235. The room rate at the Doublewood is $52, single or double. Request the wheat and barley growers convention rate.
