Lacey was honored for his public service accomplishments, bringing public awareness to issues affecting agriculture, such as greater research funding to combat scab in wheat and barley, and international grain trade issues.

Also recognized recently by NAMA was Jim Satter, sales manager for Ostlund Chemical Company, Fargo, ND. Satter was named "Agri-Marketer of the Year," for outstanding accomplishments in the field of agricultural marketing.

Satter engineered the Ostlund "Agri-Team" concept — a relationship that includes the company, its dealers and growers, all combining for success in agriculture. He is the voice behind "Big Jim’s Ostlund Agri Team Updates" that is often heard on farm radio stations in the Red River Valley. Satter spearheaded Crop Production Management Day held earlier this year in Fargo.
