NDGGA/MAWG Announce Combine Lease Winner

Greg Kessel, Belfield, ND won a 100 hour lease on a new AGCO Gleaner R72 combine for the 2001 grain harvest.  The announcement was made on Thursday, March 8, 2001 at the International Crop Expo in Grand Forks, ND.

The lease is sponsored by AGCO corporation and offered as a membership incentive by the Minnesota Association of Wheat Growers and the North Dakota Grain Growers Association. 

The winner’s name is usually drawn in July, but was moved to March so that AGCO Corporation could add extra value to the prize.  The combine will be placed in the production schedule at the AGCO manufacturing facility and customized for the specific needs of Mr. Kessel.

The combine lease drawing is made from all new and renewed members of the North Dakota Grain Growers Association and the Minnesota Association of Wheat Growers.

The winning isn’t over for MAWG and NDGGA members. Two 4WD Polaris ATV’s, courtesy of Discover Herbicide, will be given away, one to a member from each state, in July.
