Great Crowds for “Best of the Best” Wheat Meetings

Great crowds turned out for “Best of the Best” wheat research, production, and marketing workshops held late January in Dickinson and Valley City, sponsored by the North Dakota State University Extension Service, in conjunction with the North Dakota Wheat Commission and the North Dakota Grain Growers Association.

The full-day wheat workshops included demonstrations of weed and disease identification, emergence factors, grain grading, and a visual effect of DON on end-use quality.

The “Best of the Best” workshops round out with a Feb. 27 meeting in Grand Forks at the Alerus Center, and Feb. 28 in Mohall at the American Legion.
