Prairie Grains is the
official publication of
the Minnesota
Association of
Wheat Growers,
North Dakota Grain
Growers Association,
South Dakota Wheat,
Inc., and the
Minnesota Barley
Growers Association.

Because barley is grown on less acreage compared to other major crops, some may say it might be easier for issues affecting barley such as vomitoxin, the payment inquity in the new farm bill, and FCIC malting coverage to go unnoticed. This is not the case, however, because of the strong membership support of the Minnesota Barley Growers Association.

We are pleased to announce that Monsanto and Rhone-Poulenc will be assisting us in our membership program this year. Monsanto is contributing a sample of liquid or granular Far-go (your choice). Rhone-Poulenc is contributing a sample of Bronate.
