Torgerson Recognized by MN Extension

The Minnesota Association of ExtensionDaveRay02 Agricultural Professionals, the professional association for extension professionals in the state, has recognized David Torgerson with the MAEAP’s 2005 “Friend of Agriculture” Award. Torgerson, longtime executive director of the MAWG and the Minnesota Wheat Council, was recognized by the MAEAP for “continuous support of education programs, research tours, and applied research in cooperation with the University of Minnesota Extension Service to enhance the wheat industry in Minnesota.” MAEAP president and Mahnomen County extension educator Ray Bisek (right) presented Torgerson with the award at the recent Prairie Grains Conference.
