NAWG to Join NCGA, ASA in 2007 Commodity Classic
The National Association of Wheat Growers will join the National Corn Growers Association and the American Soybean Association in the Commodity Classic in 2007. “NAWG is obviously excited
about joining Commodity Classic,” says Dale Schuler, president of NAWG, and a Montana grower.
“This partnership will benefit us all, as we have many interests in common with corn and soybeans, including farm policy, trade and renewable energy. Joining Commodity Classic will also
allow us to reach out to wheat growers who may be in a state that doesn’t have a formal state association but who raise wheat in rotation.” Commodity Classic represents the annual national conference of these
national organizations.
The 2007 Commodity Classic will be held March 1-3, Tampa Convention Center, Tampa, Florida.
