USDA Secretary Dan Glickman has been invited to give the keynote address. On Jan. 16, national farm broadcaster Ken Root will moderate a live "Agri-Talk" broadcast from the NAWG Convention.
BASF will host an early-bird reception at the Baja Brewery in San Diego's historic Gas Lamp Quarter for the first 500 NAWG convention registrants. Early registration deadline is Dec. 17.
The California Association of Wheat Growers will host a pre-convention agricultural tour through California's Imperial Valley, Jan. 12-13.
