An Opportunity to Participate in a Regional On-Farm Nitrogen Research Project.

Two years ago, Minnesota growers approved an increase in the check-off with the goal of expanding wheat research. The On-Farm Research and Discovery Team is conducting a multi-location on-farm research project. This effort will allow data from your farm to be combined with data from other farms in the region.

The coordinated research project for 2012 will seek to answer the question, "Can we increase yield and/or protein by using ESN, a coated urea product?" The trial will compare spring-applied broadcast urea with a spring-applied broadcast blend of ESN and urea.

A team of research coordinators with agronomy expertise have been assembled and would like to implement this project on your farm.
